Those were 3 very happy years at AHS. I commuted from Greene county with a car full of other students, and we all stayed late if someone was in an after school activity.(Mrs. Walton saw a lot of me, in the library after school).After graduation from UofR, Les and I were married in 1959, and spent 3 years in the Army. Moving with Les's aerospace postings with Grumman, etc. we moved from Long Island to Maryland to Ontario and finally to Florida, where we have lived just south of the Space Center for the last 34 years. After trying my hand at real estate sales, and working part-time in our public library, I started teaching again, spending 20 years in the Hospital/Homebound Ex. Ed. Department, teaching mostly English and Math classes often by conference call. Thank you, Mr. Gladden and Mr. Harper!
