Pete was a loving and supportive husband, father, and Granddaddy to his beloved family. He spent his life serving others: from serving his country in the Air Force, to being an upstanding member of the Charlottesville community where he spent over 40 years serving those at the Tarleton Oak Service Center and was a member of the Elks Lodge #389.
His favorite past times were his love of golf, fishing, watching UVA football, playing cards at the Elks lodge, and being with his family and friends. Pete had spent his retirement years having adventures around the world with his loving wife. In his life, Pete was a man that one could count on. He was fiercely protective over his family and caring to those in need. He will be greatly missed.
