Began teaching in 1974 in St. Thomas, USVI. Returned to VA and worked for Colonial Williamsburg from 1976-1979. Resumed teaching in St. Thomas for a couple of years, then moved back to VA, packed up a truck and drove to Alaska. Taught in Alaska for 18 years, then moved to New Hampshire in 2002. Currently working for the Hopkinton School District.
