William Stuart Chalfant, 54 of Harrisonburg, passed away January 2, 2016 in Harrisonburg. Mr. Chalfant was born August 14, 1961 in Staunton, and was the son of Elizabeth Brubeck Chalfant, of Harrisonburg, and the late Daniel Snowden Chalfant. 

Besides his mother, Mr. Chalfant is survived by  sisters, Barbara Chalfant, Charleston, West Virginia, and Elizabeth Hall and husband, Stephen of Cary,N.C.

A memorial service will be held 2pm Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Meredith Chapel, Sunnyside Presbyterian Retirement Community.

          
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be made to the Harrisonburg-Rockingham S.P.C.A., 2170 Old Furnace Road, Harrisonburg, Virginia 22803.
