Edward Marshall Pryor IV - Class Of 1986

Edward Marshall Pryor IV, “Ed” age 53, of Ball Ground, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Northside Hospital Cherokee, in Canton, Ga.

Ed was a volunteer Firefighter with the Seminole Trail, East Rivanna and Lake Monticello Fire Depts, served as a CSO for the Charlottesville Police Dept, spent several years in the hospitality business and most recently worked in sales/customer service. He was the President of his neighborhood HOA and a volunteer with Two Tailz Rescue and Angels Among Us Pet Rescue.

Ed loved sports of any kind, but especially baseball and college football. (Anything UVA...GO HOOS!). He coached youth leagues in baseball and basketball. Ed loved traveling to the Outer Banks and sailing away on a cruise ship. He was the life of the party and never met a stranger. He had a heart of gold and always made time to listen and give good advice. Ed will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Pryor. Survivors include his loving wife, Susan; father, Marshall; fur babies, Kona and Anya; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many beloved friends. To him, everyone was family.

Due to restrictions relating to Covid-19, services will be private.
