Carolyn Leigh Collins Scott was born December 9, 1961, to Shirley G. Collins and Joseph S. Collins. The Lord decided to call home our beloved Carolyn Leigh on Tuesday, October 30, 2007.

Carolyn grew up in the beautiful Albemarle foothills of Keswick, graduating from Albemarle High School in 1980. She had a love for all animals, big and small. A sense of adventure and a love of beautiful places lead her to move to North Carolina and Florida, but family brought her back home to Virginia.

Carolyn was preceded in death by grandparents, Woodrow and Emma Collins, Adam and Mary Gibson.

She will be remembered by many for her infectious smile and kindness for others.

She is survived by her parents, Shirley and Joseph Collins of Keswick, Virginia; a brother, Joseph Calvin Collins and his wife, Pat, of Mathews, Virginia; a sister, Crystal Rejonis and her husband, Robert, of Scottsville, Virginia; and long time companion, Daniel Scott of Amherst, and his mother, Katherine; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

At her request, there will be no funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to your local SPCA.
