Larry was born at UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville, Virginia, on October 18, 1955, and entered into eternal rest on January 29, 2023, in a Miami hospital. He was 67.

He was the son of the late Frank C. Hartman and Irene Blick Hartman. His mother passed away when Larry was three years old. Larry grew up in Charlottesville and moved to Miami in 1976.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Judy of Miami, Florida; his other mother, Peggy Hartman; a brother, Michael(Nanette); two sisters, Leslie and Beverly, several nieces, great nephews, and great niece, all of Charlottesville, and many loving cousins.

Larry made a difference in this world with his caring and loving nature. He loved all creatures great and small and enjoyed gardenin. He will be deeply missed.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date.

From Mayo: Larry was among a handful of classmates who traveled from the first-grade McIntire playground to our senior graduation stage together. It was always fun to share this unique heritage. This bond remains a special memory. Larry was always a kind and caring person. His steadfast ethics in our young lives reassured us and won the admiration of his childhood classmates.
