With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Sue Jennings of Charlottesville, VA, who died at age 72 on July 18, 2024.

Sue was born to Daniel and Dorothy Via in Charlottesville and grew up in Crozet surrounded by family. After graduating from Albemarle High School, Sue enjoyed living in Massachusetts, Connecticut and Louisiana until returning home to Virginia.

She is survived by her daughter, Teera (Fabio) Spino; and grandchildren, Fabio, Reina and Brielle Spino; brother, Gary (Peggy) Via; special cousin, MaryAnn (Doug) Tomlin; along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family she loved dearly.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Dorothy Via. She was also preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, John D. Jennings, MD as well as their son, John David Jennings II.

As per Sue's request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
