I was friends with Lorraine for more than 60 years.  She was the best and kindest of friends.  I remember her as a young woman who excelled in every sport and was a top student.  You may remember her as our Homecoming Queen.  She bravely bore a long and debilitating illness with her husband, Larry, taking care of her.  Theirs was a true and abiding love story. I miss you, my friend.  Barbara Grinde McMurry
