M. Clark Parker of Huntersville, N.C., loving husband of Betty Curry Parker and father of Warren Clark Parker, passed away on April 23, 2021, at the age of 78.
Clark was born on August 14, 1942, to Virginia Clark and Herman Manley Parker. In 1957, the Parker family moved to Charlottesville, Va. Clark attended Albemarle High School where he played both baseball and basketball. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill obtaining his baccalaureate in 1964, and his law degree (J.D.) in 1968. He was also a proud member of Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity, serving as President in 1967-68.
Clark is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Betty; their son, Warren; his sister, Veegie Parker-Bell and her husband, Dick; his brother, Scott and his wife, Rhonda, and several nieces and nephews.
Clark was always passionate about his work as an attorney and together he and Betty ran his law office. He enjoyed traveling and taking cruises with Betty and loved watching his favorite basketball and football teams.
Memorial services will be private due to Covid-19. Memorial donations may be made in Clark's name to an organization of your choice.
