Carolyn June Humphrey, born December 31, 1939, in Albemarle County, Virginia, passed away peacefully with family on Thursday, June 22, 2023.

She was a resident of Plant City, FL since 1973. She was a lifelong educator who retired from Tomlin Middle School. She is the Matriarch of One Accord Church of Plant City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and husband, Robert L. Humphrey.

She is survived by her two sons, Byron (Rachel), and Randall (Kimberly); 4 grandsons; and 5 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at Hopewell Funeral Home, 6005 South County Road 39, Plant City on Wednesday June 28, with a viewing at 2:00 P.M., and the service at 3:00 P.M. Committal to follow at Hopewell Memorial Gardens. For those unable to attend the service, it will be live-streamed at www.Facebook.com/HopewellFuneral.
