Beverly Ann Gentry (Baber) - Class Of 1958


 
Photo Beverly Gentry Baber passed from this life, with God's Grace and Blessing, on Sunday, May 20, 2007, at Martha Jefferson Hospital.

Beverly was born in Dundalk, Maryland, on June 8, 1940, to Earl and Mary S. Gentry.

She is survived by her husband, William "Buck" Baber. She is also survived by her daughter, Constance H. Dunn; her ex-son-in-law and friend, Craig Paul Dunn; her son, Mark E. Baber and his wife, Susan; her grandchildren, Nathan Thomas Dunn and Emily Rachel Dunn; her sister-in-law, Nancy Gentry; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Edward Earl Gentry.

Beverly was a longtime employee of the Charlottesville Ground Intelligence Center. After retirement from CGIC, she started her second career as the owner of Tiffany's Seafood Restaurant, where she enjoyed an active role in the day to day operations.

She will be missed by all her family and friends, and the employees and patrons of Tiffany's. Her family sends heartfelt thanks to all those who participated in her care at the Martha Jefferson Hospital.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2007, at the Teague Funeral Home of 2260 Ivy Road. A funeral service will then follow at 7:00 p.m.
