Linda Gay White (Sampson) - Class Of 1976

 

Linda White Sampson, 49, of Crozet, died Monday, September 4, 2006, at her home surrounded by her loving and devoted family after a brief battle with  cancer.

Born June 6, 1957, in Albemarle County, she was the daughter of the late Russell and EdithWhite.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Lloyd M. Sampson; three sons, Brian Keith Sampson, Gregory Allen Sampson and his wife, Angela, and Joseph Paul Sampson and his fiancee, Angela Houchens; one daughter, Susan Kaye Sampson and her fiance, Bernard Brookman; seven brothers, Glen White, Steve White, James White, Melvin White, Cecil White, Ronald White and Larry White; two sisters, Penny White and Joyce White; six grandchildren, Dylan Sampson, Izabell Sampson, Tyler Sampson, Olivia Sampson, Spencer Brookman and Alyssa Brookman; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, September 8, 2006, at the Teague Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Stanley Royston officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2006, at the Teague Funeral Home.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Gordon Morris and his staff, Hospice of the Piedmont, and all their friends and neighbors for all of their care and compassion.
