Joseph Arnold Pritt, 66, of Ruckersville, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015. He was born on December 2, 1948, to the late Sherman and Allie Pritt.

He was the beloved husband of Patricia Gail Pritt for 33 years.In addition to his wife, Joe is survived by his children, Kim Volker and her husband, Joe, Jerry Moneymaker and his wife, Lorrie, and Joe Moneymaker and his wife, Meredith; eight grandchildren, Montana, Kaitlyn, Zach, Coty, Gage, Maddie, Tyler, and Taylor; one great-granddaughter, Alaina; his sisters, Marilyn Wood, and Carolyn Bryant; one brother, Jerry Pritt; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Children were always very dear to his heart.

His greatest passions in life, aside from his family, were racing and hunting. He was a member of the NRA and Daystar Worship Center.

A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, September 18, 2015, at 8 p.m. at Teague Funeral Home in Charlottesville. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service.
