Donald "Donnie" Lewis Woodson Sr., 70, of Waynesboro, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at Augusta Health in Fishersville.

He was born March 5, 1947, in Crozet to the late William and Beverley (Becker) Woodson.

He is survived by his five children, Donald L. Woodson Jr. of Gordonsville, Tonia K. Newton of Palmyra, Michael E. Woodson of Midlothian, Nathan T. Woodson of Staunton, and Amanda S. Woodson of Fishersville; one brother, William "Billy" T. Woodson of Crozet; and two stepchildren, Stephanie and Kenneth "BJ", both of Waynesboro. He is further survived by nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren and one nephew.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2017, at Anderson Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Sarah Evancho officiating.
