Julia May (Judi) Early Bidwick

Since retiring and moving to Florida, my husband and I volunteer for the USCoast Guard Auxiliary, spending about 150 hours a month teaching boating classes, flying, patrolling the Gulf and inspecting boats for the Coast Guard.
We also travel with friends in the Caribbean or Europe.
Al and I spend three months in Ocean City, Maryland where we have a house on the water and spend time with grandchildren.

I enjoyed the time William Faulkner visited with our school. He was writer in residence at the University and he was invited by our librarian to talk to interested staff and students. I went on to major in English literature in college and read all of Faulkner's books.
I also enjoyed playing in the band and orchestra at AHS, especially the jazz band that we had.
The school play senior year was fun. Mr. Gladden was a favorite of mine--great English teacher.
