Steven "Steve" Vance Gibson Sr. Steven "Steve" Vance Gibson Sr., 57, of Waynesboro, Virginia died on Monday, July 21, 2014, at his home.

Steven was born November 11, 1956, son of Earl Linwood Gibson and Frances McCann. He was proceeded in death by both his mother and father, Earl Linwood Gibson and Frances McCann; and his first wife and the mother of his children, Pamela Collier.

Survivors include his son, Steven Vance Gibson, Jr. and his fiancee, Tiffany of Barboursville, Virginia; daughter, Danielle Gibson and her boyfriend, Kevin of Charlottesville, Virginia; granddaughter, Rainbow Gibson of Barboursville, Virginia; his girlfriend, Debbie Gring of Woodbridge, Virginia; sister, Doris Hutchinson and her husband, Bill of Charlottesville, Virginia; brothers, Linwood Gibson and his wife, Mary, of Waynesboro, Virginia, and David Gibson of Charlottesville, Virginia; his dog, Matilda; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Special thanks to his cousin, Marc McCann and Leanne, his nurse from Hospice. Steven graduated from Albemarle High School 1975. He was a Certified golf cart and small engine mechanic; he loved riding motorcycles and dirt bikes with his kids. He was such a caring and giving person who always wanted to help you.
