Robert Alexander Roseberry - Class Of 1971

Robert "Bob" Alexander Roseberry died in an accident near his home in Campbell, California, on Saturday, February 15, 2014. Born in Yokohama, Japan, on September 6, 1953, he traveled extensively as the son of an Army officer.

A graduate of Albemarle High School and the University of Virginia, Bob moved to California in 1978, where he married the love of his life, Paulette Kempe, in 1991.

He was a project manager for Devcon Construction, based in Milpitas, California, and was vice chairman of the Campbell Planning Commission.

He is survived by his wife, Paulette; his children, Weston and Andrea; and his brother, Mike Cady, all of California; his sisters, Laura Schoonover and her husband, Corky, and Susan Heartwell and her husband, Proal; his nephews, Cortlandt and Patrick Schoonover; his niece, Elise Heartwell; and an uncle, Ed Roseberry, all of Charlottesville; and by numerous other relatives and close family friends. He was the son of the late Robert Roseberry and Patricia Roseberry Muller and his stepfather was the late William Muller.

Bob was graced with many natural gifts and he took full advantage of those gifts. He knew how to have fun, and he enjoyed his life immensely. We who are bereft are blessed to have known him.
