DAVID DILLEHUNT

David Nelson Dillehunt graduated from Albemarle High School in 2002, from CATEC in 2003, and received a BA in Communication from Southern New Hampshire University.

He incorporated his independent production company, DND Films, in March 2003, and has produced and directed numerous feature films and television series. He has also released over a dozen albums and EPs of original music compositions.

David serves as Deputy Director of Communications & Public Engagement for the City of Charlottesville. He originally joined the Office of Communications as a multimedia consultant in November 2005. He has supported CPA-TV for 25 years, starting as a volunteer while attending AHS. He now manages the local PEG-TV stations and Community Media Center.

He is a two-time Regional Emmy Award nominee, receiving a nod in May 2013 and May 2021 for his work with the City. David is married to Kristen Dillehunt (Spatz), a 2006 Albemarle High School graduate.
