In Memory

Nicholas John Romanac - Class Of 1965

December 25, 1946 - December 05, 2020

Nicholas (Nick Romanac) He was born on Christmas day. He was struggling all year with his health and left this world and us too soon.

My brother was an amazing man, he started in the coconut Grove as a stagehand in Miami, in his 20's and worked for over 40 years in the motion picture business, having worked as a Prop Master and Set Decorator on over 85 motion pictures and Commercials. He always wanted to write a book on all of his experiences with actors and the movies, "The movie business from the eyes of a prop man" he said he would have called it.

He loved dogs, having had, I remember, 5 Dobermans over his lifetime; his Doberman now is named Austin, for his love of Austin Healeys. He had 2 at one time.

I know you're at peace and with Jim, Marty, Mom and Dad, and all of the family that awaits you. God needed a prop man. I love and miss you, Bro. I will see you again one day.

Nick is survived by his wife Lynette Bernay,  daughter Tiffany Richards,  grandsons  Taylor Heim and Jordan Richards, and brothers, Robert Romanac and Tom Romanac.
