Ricky W. Marshall of Albemarle County, Va. passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. He will join his late father, Aubrey R. Marshall; and his brother, Randy L. Marshall.

Ricky is survived by his loving mother, Nancy H. Marshall of Charlottesville, Va; his daughter, Alison M. Warren (Mike) of Scottsville, Va; his sister, Becky E. Marshall of Crozet, Va; his brother, Rodney R. Marshall (Kathye) of Culpeper, Va; and his nieces and nephews, Meghan, Randi, Chance, Faith, Dylan, and Daphney. He also leaves behind his five rescue dogs and cat. His deaf dog, Red, Rosie, Otis, Foxy, and Shorty; and his cat, Pinball whom all of which he called his family.

Ricky was a great carpenter, outdoorsman, hunter, archer, and fisherman. He had an overwhelming love for the outdoors and had an immense love for animals. He excelled in everything he did and accomplished.

Thanks to his friends, Eddie, Raymond, and Bob, and brother Rodney who took him fishing in the last weeks. Thanks to Dr. Russell for all you did. Ricky always said, "Once a man learned to fish he would never go hungry. I loved fishing and I was damn good at it."

A tribute to his life will be held at a later date.
