Dexter Honeycutt was born April 13,1948.   Dexter, diagnosed with lung cancer,  passed at his home in Bradenton, Florida on Friday, August 27, 2021.

Dexter is survived by his wife Patricia Handy, a son Christopher,  daughters, Catherine and Christin, and Brody, his grandson.

Dexter was a 1966 graduate from Albemarle High School. He was an undergraduate of RPI (VCU), Bowling Green and a post graduate of the University of South Florida. Dexter served in the United States Army.  His employment in 2010 was as a medical  librarian.

Dexter became a member of the Albemarle High School Alumni Association on December 28, 2010, which was soon after Alumni Association website was available.
