John Andrew Frazier - Class Of 1962

 

John Andrew Frazier, 79, passed away on Monday, December 21, 2020, at his home in Advance Mills, Va., after a long battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP).

Born June 4, 1941, in Charlottesville, Va., Johnny was the son of the late Ellis S. Frazier, Sr. and Annie Mae Holloway Frazier. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara Anne Garrison and Doris Jane Wood.

Johnny worked for many years in the automotive parts industry with Fisher Auto Parts in Crozet and Charlottesville. Later, he was a co-owner of New River Valley Speedway, in Radford, Va. After his retirement, he enjoyed driving the courtesy shuttle at BMW of Charlottesville.

Johnny is survived by his wife, Marjorie Frazier. He is also survived by his two daughters, Amanda Petrylak and husband John of Lake Monticello, Cindy Topper and husband David of Earlysville, Va. He was Granddaddy to Ryder Petrylak, Reese Topper, Claire Petrylak, Reagan Topper, Quinn Topper, Jack Topper and Zoe Topper. Johnny is also survived by his brother Ellis Frazier, sister Nancy Gilbert, brother-in-law Joe Wood and many beloved nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Johnny’s nephew, Troy Durrer, for his wonderful care and compassion during the past year.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday December 30, 2020, at Holly Memorial Gardens. The family requests that you wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines.
