Nancy Lucille Critzer (Brown) - Class Of 1958 VIEW PROFILE

Nancy Critzer Brown, 80 of Charlottesville passed away Monday, June 1, 2020, while at her residence.

Nancy was born December 2, 1939 in Charlottesville Virginia to the late Raymond Critzer and the late Louise Ragland Critzer of Schuyler, Virginia.

Nancy was a graduate of Albemarle High School, Class of 1958. She retired from the Michie Company after 40 years of service and then worked at the University of Virginia for 15 years until her final retirement 2012.

Nancy had a passion for bowling. She was the Secretary/Treasurer and team member of the Kegler's Monday Night Mixed League and the Wednesday morning Leaugeaneers for many years. She was also the past Secretary/Treasurer of the Charlottesville/Albemarle USBC/WBA Bowling Association. Nancy was a die-hard Redskins Fan and she loved UVA Men's Basketball. Nancy also loved spending time with her children and grandchildren at her pool.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Phillip W. Brown, and their two children; Sandra Marshall and her husband Allen of Crozet, VA and Phillip W. Brown II and his wife Jacqueline Parsons of Mechanicsville, VA; grandchildren, Harrison and Vince Marshall, Samantha and Meredith Brown, and Wesley and Brittney Parsons.

Nancy is also survived by one sibling, Joyce Hicks, and her husband, Tom Hicks, of Ruckersville; niece Amy Hicks and nephew Tommy Hicks.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2020,@2pm at Rivanna Baptist Church, 1819 East Market Street, Charlottesville, VA 22902.
