Eriqua Martinia Carter/Hawkins, age 40, of Charlottesville, Virginia, passed away on November 14, 2023, in Charlottesville Eriqua was born on March 28, 1983, in Charlottesville.

She is survived by her mother, Vera Carter Hawkins, her grandmother, Flossie Hawkins, and her children, Jazmyn Carter Page and Sierrah Carter. Eriqua is also survived by her sister, Tamika Harris, her niece, Aneyssa Harris, her great niece, Indigo ClaraBelle Harris, and her nephews, Amir Harris and Jaydacus Harris Allen. She leaves behind a host of other family members, including cousins, uncles, and aunts. Eriqua was preceded in death by her father, Roy Edward Carter Hawkins.

A ceremony to celebrate Eriqua's life will be held on December 2nd at 2 p.m. at the Hillsdale Conference Center, located at 550 Hillsdale Dr, Charlottesville, VA.
