Sebastian was born on April 22, 1979, in Argentina. He come to the United States when he was 7 years old. He graduated from VCU and had a successful career in electrical engineering.

Sebastian was a loyal friend with a passion for life who was loved by many.

He is survived by his parents, Mirta Ruiz and Enrique Herrera of Waynesboro VA, his son Oliver Herrera and Oliver’s mother, Haley Neumann of Charlottesville VA, sister Veronica Herrera and her husband Ben Wiles of Storrs CT, nieces and nephews Eva Lucia and Leonardo of Storrs CT.
