Jamie Diane Carter, 44, passed away on Monday, May 17, 2021, at Saint Vincent's Hospital in Erie, Pa. She was born in Barboursville, Va. the daughter of Pauline Carter and the late James Robert Carter Jr.

She was a graduate of Albemarle High School and attended Barron College and Penn State University. She spent her career in the healthcare field. She had a talent for singing and could strike up a conversation with anyone.

In addition to her mother, Pauline Carter she is survived by four children, William, Tribeca, Amontae and Diamonte McCoy; one brother, James Robert Carter Jr. (Emma); a niece, Jasmyn Carter; a nephew, Eriq Carter; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Holly Memorial Gardens. Masks are required.

A walk-through visitation will be held from 12 to 6 p.m. on Friday, May 28, 2021, at the J. F. Bell Funeral Home Chapel, 108 6th St. N.W.
