Brian Christopher Anderson, 46, of Lynchburg, Va., formerly of Esmont, Va., departed this life on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at Lynchburg General Hospital.

He was born on March 11, 1975, at UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville, Va., a son of Theresa A. Jackson and the late Archie W. Jackson. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, C. Coolidge and M. Edith Anderson, and John A. and Irene Chambers Jackson.

He leaves to cherish memories his mother, Theresa A. Jackson of Esmont; one daughter, Ja'Zaya; and one stepdaughter, Ja'Nasia, both of Lynchburg, Va.; one sister, Kimberly Jackson of Laurel, Md.; two brothers, Kelvin Jackson of Annapolis, Md., and Archie Jackson Jr. of Charlottesville; four aunts, Jacqueline Elcox and Wanda Jones of Esmont, Portia Jackson of Charlottesville, and Jrene Greene of Richmond, Va.; four uncles, Antonio and Latravern Jackson of Charlottesville, Clarence Jackson (Gwen) of Palmyra, Va., and Ulysses Jackson of Scottsville, Va.; a devoted cousin, Michelle Rush-Bulls (Dwayne) of Charlottesville; godmother, Darlene Gray of Esmont; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church, Esmont, Va. The family request that you please follow the CDC and State of Virginia guidelines.

A walk-through viewing will be held from 12 until 6 p.m. on Friday, August 20, 2021, at the J. F. Bell Funeral Home Chapel.
