Michael accepted Christ at an early age at the Union Run Baptist Church in Shadwell, VA.; Michael graduated from Albemarle H.S. in 1987 and rededicated his life to the Lord, and received the Holy Ghost speaking in tongues! He was taken from his home to Army Boot Camp in Fort Dix, New Jersey and sent directly overseas to Germany where he spent most of his time before discharge. He was top Chef while there and made rank of E4 Specialist.

He was in love with anything having to do with autos from when he was a toddler and could tell you anything you asked about them. Michael was also a lover of people and being in the company of others. Oh yeah, he had the memory of an elephant (Lol).

Michael began working at Krogers while still in H.S. and bought his first car from one of his teachers and was so proud. He worked many jobs over time including Red Lobster, Manager at the formerly known Colonnades Senior Home Dining Hall. His favorite of all was his work with the ACPD. He got to run code (race to urgent or dangerous situations). He needed to retire on disability due to injury on the job around 2007. His health began to decline for the past five years until his transition this past Wednesday.

Michael was an avid fan of his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. He had a desperate love for family, especially his two children.
