Jessie "JC", 55, of Earlysville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 6, 2022. He was born on April 1, 1966, in Charlottesville, Va., to Betty L. O'Quinn and the late Jessie C. O'Quinn Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Scott and Lydia Cline his paternal grandparents, Rufas and Lettie O'Quinn; and step-grandmother, Polly O'Quinn.

In addition to his mother, Jessie is survived by his sister, Pam Sullivan and husband, Wayne of Ivy, Va.; nephew, Justin Sullivan and wife, Cally, of Charlottesville, Va.; aunts, Pattie Baber of Crozet, Va., Charlotte Rose and Fern Rose of Clintwood, Va., and numerous cousins. Jessie was a 1984 graduate of Albemarle High School. He worked for J.W. Seig and Glenmore Country Club. In recent years he was his mother's caretaker. Jessie was an avid Miami Dolphins fan. He loved his fishing trips to the Outer Banks, golfing, and most of all spending time at the Elks.

A visitation for Jessie will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Teague Funeral Service, 2260 Ivy Road, Charlottesville, VA 22903. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, February 13, 2022, at Holly Memorial Garden.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Loving Arms Care, 716 Rio Road W. Suite E, Charlottesville, VA 22901, or Hospice of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Parkway, Charlottesville, VA 22901.
