Tracy Kay McCauley passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. Tracy was born in Charlottesville, Virginia, on October 30, 1964. She was preceded in death by her father, Patrick Orme McCauley.

Tracy is survived by her mother, Thyrza Brooking McCauley; her sister, Mary Edra McCauley Lane; her niece, Jennifer Michelle Lane; and her beloved life partner, Edwin "Tripp" Brown Gough, III.

Tracy graduated from Albemarle High School, went to Radford University to play volleyball, and ended up graduating from the University of Virginia. Tracy never met a stranger and was always expanding her friend base. She never missed a chance at having fun. She lived her life to the fullest. Tracy's passing has left a silent void and her witty banter and the joy she brought with her everywhere she went will be sorely missed.

Since Tracy hated funerals, no service will be held.
