Ann Marie Stewart, age 59, of Richmond, Virginia passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024. She is predeceased by her mother, Jean Haden Stewart of Charlottesville, VA and her father, Vaughan Stewart Jr. of Charlottesville, VA; grandfather, Stuart Haden of Goochland, VA; grandmother, Erminie Haden of Goochland, VA; grandmother, Kathryn Warwick of Arlington, VA; stepmother, Ellen H. Stewart of Charlottesville, VA.

Ann Marie is survived by her brother, James E. Stewart of Richmond, VA and sister in Law, Marie B. Stewart of Richmond, VA.

Ann Marie graduated from Albemarle High School in 1982 and went on to earn a BS Degree in Early Childhood Education from Radford University in 1986. She spent her career as an Elementary School Teacher for Fluvanna County Schools from 1986 - 2021.

In her free time she spent Summers working at Fairview Swim Club in Albemarle County and she enjoyed Music (Bluegrass, Folk & Irish), Art, Kayaking, Birdwatching and her beloved Dog Sasha.

Ann Marie was a caregiver for her Father Vaughan Stewart Jr. and her Step-Mother Ellen Stewart, until their deaths.

Family would like to extend gratitude and appreciation to Home Instead Care Providers (Charlottesville VA) and Spring Arbor Care Providers (Richmond VA).

A private burial service will be held at Holly Memorial Cemetery in Albemarle County VA.
