It is with great sorrow  that Daniel Thomas Ross, beloved husband and father, left this Earth February 2, 2022.

He graduated from Virginia Tech in 1981 and continued his education gaining a master's degree at VCU. He taught special education at Brookland Middle School for 20 years and touched many with his kindness and care. He always made sure to do the extra little things, like baking birthday cakes for the children or making sure that all of the kids had money when they went shopping. Everyone who knew him received his love, care and attention. He loved his family more than anything.

Dan is survived by his wife Kathleen Ross, his five children and three grandsons, his mother Shirley Brown Ross and his three brothers.

Depression is a silent killer that needs to be stopped.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to The Trevor Project. Dan will be greatly missed but never forgotten and always loved.
