It is with heavy hearts we share that Stanley "Ricky" Leighton Patterson, Jr. of Crozet, Va., passed away on Sunday August 21, 2022. He was born on February 24, 1954, the son of the late Stanley Leighton Patterson Sr. and Virginia Grinsted Patterson.

Ricky is survived by his wife, Pamela Jane Cook Patterson; children, son, Joshua Leighton Patterson and wife, Joey, daughter, Jamie Shirlyn Patterson and partner, Martin, son, Jake Vincent Patterson; grandchildren, Layla, Leighton, Jax and Presley Patterson, William and Austin Villa, and Olivia Patterson.

Ricky was a lifelong member of the Crozet community and an avid sportsman. He will be remembered for his passion for hunting, fishing, camping in the mountains and music. He held strong, lasting friendships. Ricky "Pop" was a caretaker of those closest to him and will forever be missed, especially by his grandchildren.
