George Early Bruce, 75, of Unionville, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022, in Fredericksburg, Virginia. He was born in Charlottesville, on July 11, 1947, to the late Samuel Early Bruce and Ruby Trainham Bruce. He was predeceased in death by his wife, Patricia Carter Bruce.

He is survived by three daughters, Megan Bruce Coppage of Barboursville, Carol Ann Koontz and husband, Mike, of Orange, and Tina Caldwell Eheart and husband, Boyd, of Ehearts Corner; a sister, Betty Mae Riley and Noah Roach, of Lindsey; grandchildren, Tyler A. Coppage and wife, Kara, of Milwaukee, Wisc., Ian S. Coppage of Richmond, Danielle P. Sargent of Orange, and Jake E. Eheart of Bumpass; a great-grandson, Milo R. Coppage; a nephew, Junior "JR" Riley and wife, Ressie, of Gordonsville; a special niece, Sheila Chambers of Gordonsville; a special great niece, Kelly Crawford and husband, David, of Orange; and a special friend and caregiver, Shari Quinn of Unionville.
