Frankie Adkins Woodson, 78 of Stanardsville, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022, with her son, Shawn holding her hand. She was born on February 20, 1943, in Chatham, Va.

Frankie was a loving and devoted mother. She enjoyed planting flowers and working in her garden. She was a dedicated and active member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Charlottesville where she served as the assistant treasurer. She was the bookkeeper for Vess Excavating.

Frankie is survived by her only son, Christopher "Shawn" Woodson of Stanardsville, her sister, Jackie Odell and a niece, Tracy Odell Bryant of Troy. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Lester Adkins and her mother, Ethel K. Adkins.

In lieu of flowers, Frankie would want you to make a donation to her church, Calvary Baptist Church, 1675 Avon Street Ext, Charlottesville, VA 22902.

Per Frankie's wishes there will be no funeral Services.
