Beloved Emma Coleman, a devoted nurse, mother, and friend to many, left this world on January 8, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lacy Burns Clements Sr. and Fannie Jones Clements; and three brothers, Steve D. Clements, Gene A. Clements and Lacy Burns Clements Jr.
Emma is survived by her two sons, James and John Coleman; her niece, Tammy Barber; along with many others whose lives she touched with her gentle hands.
Emma was a veteran nurse at Martha Jefferson Hospital devoting over 25 years of her life to helping others. Emma loved helping people and would do just about anything for anyone. She loved antiques, especially dishes, flowers, gardening, and animals. She will never be forgotten by those whose lives she touched and will always remain in their hearts.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Saturday, January 15, 2011, at Teague Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Good Shepherd Episcopal Churchyard.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. Friday, January 14, 2011, at Teague Funeral Home.
