I remember Mrs. Fulcher very well.  She, along with Mrs. Dofflemyer, were influences in my attending Longwood.  I often saw her at Longwood  reunions.  She never seemed to change.  I just reread what she wrote in my senior yearbook, when she said she hoped to see me on the Longwood stage.  I did appear in three productions at Longwood, and later met my husband in community theatre. So, she was perhaps an influence in  both of these areas!

My sympathy goes out to the family.
