Cynthia Clark - Class Of 1975

Cynthia Ruth Clark Cynthia Ruth Clark, 57, of Whitehall, Virginia, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 25, 2014. Cindy was born at Fort Rucker in Alabama, on January 19, 1957.

Cindy is survived by one son, Mark Adcock of Charlottesville, Virginia; father, Neil Clark; brother, Wayne Clark and his wife, T.C.; nieces and nephews Jamie Lively and her husband, Jason, Jeremy Clark and his wife, Tiffany, and Justin Miller and his wife, Jennifer; great-nieces and nephews, Jacob and Josh Lively, Jillie and Maddux Clark, Kainan and Kynlee Miller, all of Whitehall, Virginia; and a host of family from Alabama and New Jersey. Cindy was preceded in death by her mother, Liz "Grannie" Clark.

Cindy retired from being a dedicated 911 Emergency Communications Officer for the regional Emergency Communication Center for 27 years, as a mentor, officer and friend. She loved spending time with her family, especially the great-nieces and nephews. She loved to go fishing and spend time in Buxton, North Carolina. Recently she spent a lot of time and enjoyed researching the genealogy of her family. She recently became a member of The Daughters of the Confederacy. Since retiring Cindy became the proud mother of her furry child, Chessie Mae, whom she loved dearly.

A celebration of Cindy's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Western Albemarle Rescue Squad or Crozet Volunteer Fire Department. The Clark family would like to thank everyone for all their thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time.
