Jacob Freydoon Azimi Jacob Freydoon Azimi, 26 years, of Sorrento, Florida, formerly of Charlottesville, Virginia, departed from this life peacefully on July 4, 2014.

Born February 23, 1988, in Charlottesville, Virginia to Mohsen Amir Azimi and Paula Veldhuis Azimi, his life passed by all too quickly, and he will be sorely missed.

He graduated from Albemarle High School, in Charlottesville, Virginia, in 2006. He was an accomplished musician with a continual and avid thirst for knowledge. His wit and charm were enjoyed by all who were blessed to know him.

He is survived by his father, Mohsen, of Charlottesville, Virginia; his mother, Paula Veldhuis, of Sorrento, Florida; and two sisters, Simone Azimi Parker and her husband, Nate, of Richmond, Virginia, and Matti Veldhuis of Sorrento.

Funeral arrangements are with Loomis Funeral Homes, Apopka, Florida, and services were held Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at 2:30 p.m. at Victory Baptist Church, 115 N. Christiana Ave., Apopka, FL, with Dr. John Reynolds officiating.
