Linda Steele Glover - Class Of 1977

Linda Steele Glover, 55, of Charlottesville, died at home December 4, 2014.

Linda was born in Urbana, Illinois on October 8, 1959, to her parents Eleanor Glover Droney and Robert Jentsch.

With her mother and siblings she moved to Charlottesville, Virginia in 1961, attending Charlottesville and Albemarle schools. She graduated from Radford University in 1983 and attained her Master in Education from the University of Virginia Curry School

From childhood her only desire was to become a teacher. In the field of special education, she was happiest with small children with special needs. At various times she worked in Nelson, Orange, and Albemarle County public schools.

Linda is survived by her beloved daughters Quillan Lee Arico and Eleanor Will Zatcoff; her mother, Eleanor Droney; father, Robert Jentsch and his wife Claire; sister, Jennifer Glover Droney; brother, William Glover and his wife Machelle; half-brother Rob Jentsch; several nieces and nephews and her dear life-long friends, Laura Osborne Kirk and Melissa Erickson Jones.

Linda was predeceased by her stepfather who raised her, Joseph Droney; her maternal grandparents, Virginia and W. Barron Glover; and her paternal grandparents, Frieda and William Jentsch.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted 11am Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at Church of Our Saviour, E. Rio Road, Charlottesville, Virginia with inurnment to follow in the churchyard. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Because of her love of children and Christmas , any memorial contributions may be made to the Santa Fund, 806 E. High St., Charlottesville, VA 22902.
