Richard Daryl Moyer - Class Of 1993

 

 

Richard Daryl Moyer, 33, of Stanardsville, Virginia, passed away Friday, December 21, 2007, at his home.

He is survived by his wife Amber Dinan; his parents, Shields and Katherine Moyer; his sisters, Renee Sampson and her husband, Scott, Rachel Keller and her husband, Adrian; Amber's family of Eileen Mosher, Michaela Dinan and her husband, Tim, Erin Dinan and her husband, Michael, Lauren Twardy and her husband, Ryan, and Logan Coleman; his honorary sisters, Monica Hott and her husband, Ryan; his daughter, Jordan Kennamer; his nieces, Tori Sampson, Katie Keller, Megan Keller, and Emily Keller; and all of those who have been touched by his life.

Richard was a Charlottesville native and an Albemarle High School graduate. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman, carpenter and landscaper. He will be remembered as the Lead High Ropes Technical Specialist, assisting many facilitators, executives and teams at the Falls River Center and the Federal Executive Institute. He will always be remembered for the joy he found in life, his optimism for the future, his quick and easy smile and his profound love for all things great and small.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2007, at Belmont Baptist Church, 830 Monticello Avenue. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, December 24, 2007, at Belmont Baptist Church.
