Billy Rodgers - Class Of 1982

Billy Rodgers, of Roanoke, VA, passed away on September 1, 2005, after a long illness.  He is survived by one son.

Photo William Edward (Bill) Rodgers, went to his Lord on Sept. 3, 2005, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.

He was born in Charlottesville on March 24, 1964. He was a graduate of Albemarle High School in 1984, and was a cook at various restaurants in Charlottesville.

He is survived by his parents, William R., and Bonnie Rodgers; his son, Forrest; his sister, Lori Ann Nichols; a nephew, Dustin Nichols; and a niece, Brittnee Nichols, all of Keswick; also, two caring and special friends, Diane Lynch and Kathleen Doherty of Roanoke; and many other relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of Raleigh Court Health Center and Roanoke Memorial Hospital for their care.

A graveside funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2005, at Holly Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Mark Long officiating.

Donations may be made to the Raleigh Court Health Center, 1527 Grandin Rd. SW, Roanoke, VA 24015.
