Charles William "Chuck" Reynolds, 53, of Charlottesville and formerly of Scottsville, died Wednesday, March 15, 2017.

He was born on August 9, 1963, a son of Faye P. Moneymaker and the late Bobby Moneymaker.

Chuck worked as a flooring installer for a number of years. He enjoyed NASCAR racing and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his mother, Faye Moneymaker, survivors include a son, Shannon Teter; two daughters, Ashley Reynolds and Kristyn Dameron and her husband, Ernest; three grandsons, Richard "Trey" Durrer, Taylor Reynolds, and Titan Teter; a brother, Barry Reynolds and his wife, Jeannette; a sister, Teresa Moneymaker Beahm and her husband, Mike; his former wife and best friend, Melanie Reynolds; special friends, Ted, Bootsie, and Barry Childress and Larry Bridges; and a number of other extended family members.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont.
