John Green, III, age 55, of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, in UPMC McKeesport Hospital. 

He was born February 26, 1963, in Orange, VA, son of Jeannette Johnson of Charlottesville, VA and the late John Green, Jr.

He was the loving husband of Terese Sparks Green.

 John was a member of Payne Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church and served on the Usher Board, Culinary Crew, and a member of the Sons of Allen. He bowled on "The Weekenders" bowling league and was also a former Coach for the Steel Valley Athletic Association. He was employed at D.S. Waters in Carnegie. 

Survivors include wife, Terese Green of West Mifflin; children, Johnathan Green of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, John Green, IV of West Mifflin, David Green of West Mifflin; grandchildren, Janaya Green and Jeremiah Green; siblings, Lorraine Green of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Elaine Green of Charlottesville, VA, Johanna Green of San Diego, CA, Jennifer Green of Charlottesville, VA; step- mother, Mary Green; nieces, nephews, and many loving friends. 

Friends will be received Friday, from 4-8 p.m. at Payne Chapel AME Church, 601 Priscilla Avenue, Duquesne, Pennsylvania, where services will be held on Saturday, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Christina Reid officiating. Interment will be private.
