Douglas W. Dobbins
Douglas W. Dobbins, 45, of Palmyra, died on Monday, May 18, 2009, at the Hospice House on Park Street.
Born May 27, 1963, in Charlottesville, he was the son of Jenny Raines Garton of Scottsville and the late Charles W. Dobbins.
Douglas was an Architectural Drafter with DBF Architects and had earned an Associate Degree in Computer Drafting from Piedmont Virginia Community College.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Tracey Travers Dobbins of Palmyra; a daughter, Cailin Anne Dobbins; a son, Conner Douglas Dobbins; a brother, Thomas Christopher Dobbins of Charlottesville; his step-father, Fred Garton of Scottsville; his father and mother-in-law, George and Patricia Travers of Keswick; and a brother-in-law, Jonathan Travers of Gordonsville.
A private family service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2009.
