Courtney Lee Lindsay - Class Of 1979

 

 

 

Courtney Lee Lindsay of Charlottesville entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 14, 2007.

He is the son of Savola R. Lindsay and the late Willie P. Lindsay Sr.

He leaves to cherish his memory, two sons, Courtney Lee Lindsay II and Damian R. Lindsay, both of Charlottesville; two brothers, James C. Ray Sr. of Charlottesville, Willie P. Lindsay Jr. and his wife, Pamela, of San Antonio, Texas, Michael G. Lindsay and his wife, Yolanda, of Charlottesville; five sisters, Joyce R. Luck and her husband, Roland, of Charlottesville, Minister Savola "Butler" Monroe and her husband, William, of Charlottesville, Vanessa Ray-Hunt of Baltimore, Maryland, Malissa A. Lindsay of Fredericksburg and Millicent Lindsay-Morris of Charlottesville; one god daughter, Erika W. Wilson; one special friend, Sylvia Mosby and four children he embraced as his own, Allegra Johnson, "Ray Ray" Mosby, Alita "Tee" Sims and Rikko Sims; and a host of other beloved relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, July 20, 2007, at Zion Union Baptist Church with the Reverend John Reid officiating.  Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Services of comfort are entrusted to the staff of McClenny Funeral Service Inc. Doris A. McClenny Mortician.
