Rebecca Lynn Thacker, 56, of Scottsville, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2017, at home.

Born in Virginia on March 12, 1961, she was the daughter of Barbara Ann Hensley and the late Kelly Lee Hensley.

A graduate of Albemarle High School, Rebecca worked for a few years as a bookkeeper for the County School System.

She was a devoted wife, mother and daughter who was loved by many friends. She will be very missed.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband of 37 years, Michael Thacker; their children, Daniel Wayne Thacker and Jonathan Lee Thacker; three grandchildren, Hannah J. Thacker, Hunter M. Thacker, and Chelsea R. Thacker; and her siblings, Kevin D. Hensley, Tracey D. Sulanke and Kelly L. Hensley, Jr.

Services will be private.
