Erskine Lewis Awkard, 54, of Summerton, SC, passed away on March 23, 2007. 

He is survived by a son, Terrence Kyron Awkard.

Erskine and wife Casandra King-Awkard, met in the military. They were married for over 27 years until his untimely death in 2007. Casandra was diagnosed with the later stages of lung cancer in 2010 and battled with her illness until the early morning on April 29, 2012.
