John H Gregg (1974)

Born January 23, 1953

She was a delightful free spirit who had appeared to set her life course while at Va Tech. Then came the car accident.

She loved band, playing 1st Chair 1st Saxophone, the Drama Club and friends, especially the goofy ones.

She also loved the summer she was a counselor at St. George Episcopal Church Camp and the time she spent with dear friend Barbara Grinde, an AHS graduate.

Died as the result of a car accident with an idiot, probably DUI. She lived a week before her brain shut down, and the family donated all possible organs.

Because of car accidents by all three of us kids I still donate blood 4 to 6 times per year.

Mother, Nancy, who died in 2011 at UVAMC

Father, John B. who lived in Charlottesvile through 10/2011 when he moved to The Heritage, Brentwood TN

Sister, Marti who graduated UMD with Engish BA and Catholic U. with MFA. She has worked at British Telecom or its subsidiaries sice 1979 and has lived in Paris France since 1991.

Brother, John H., graduated Albemarle 1974, VMI 1978 BA, and the Army Command and General Staff Course, 1991. I left Charlottesville for the Army in 1978 and have lived in Middle Tennessee since 1980. I currently lives in Spring Hill, TN, about 20 miles from John B. Gregg.
